Mike Girard

Founder

Mike Girard is a senior housing broker with 20 years of transaction and advisory experience, totaling over $3.75B in investment sales for private clients, pension funds, pension fund advisors, insurance companies, public and private REITs, government organizations, special servicers/trustees, banks, foreign investors, developers, and hedge funds. Prior to forming Framework Realty Advisors ("FRA"), Mr. Girard co-founded and launched The Seniors Group, or TSG, a successful national seniors housing brokerage platform catering to the seniors housing industry.  Prior to founding TSG, Mr. Girard was instrumental in the growth of Apartment Realty Advisors (ARA subsequently became part of Newmark Knight Frank) from 7 to 19 offices, and $1.7B to $9B in annual sales volume. Mr. Girard helped expand the New England and South/Central regions from single state to multi-state platforms. Mr. Girard has represented clients in sales of highly complex tax credit, bond and HUD-financed assets, student properties, all types of seniors housing properties, and a variety of distressed assets. Mr. Girard has coordinated large equity placement and JV partnership negotiations including the restructuring of a $90M portfolio recapitalization and dispositions as large as $300M. Mr. Girard has researched and valued thousands of properties and he is one of the most heavily licensed individual real estate brokers in the country.   Mike is involved with Sons of the Flag and affiliated Bird's Eye View Project, nonprofit Charitable Organizations dedicated to helping Veterans, First Responders, and Civilian Burn Survivors and their families.
